I would give negative five stars if I could. It is astonishing that the only choices available when calling are to leave a message for a call back or physically go to the pharmacy. The system prevents any interaction with a live person, resulting in a frustrating cycle of missed calls and repeated messages. This lack of communication is incredibly aggravating and inefficient. Update: I drove to the pharmacy after becoming frustrated with the back-and-forth phone calls and voice messages. When I expressed my frustration to the man helping me, he coldly told me, "That's the future, ma'am. You can complain to corporate." He showed no sympathy for the fact that I had to physically drive to the pharmacy to get answers. I discovered that they had been waiting for insurance authorization for a medication that wasn't covered for four days, without notifying me. Now, I have to return tomorrow to pick it up.. I believe the man was suggesting that the future will involve less human interaction due to technology, which seems like an absurd comparison considering how they require you to leave a message for a call back or physically visit the pharmacy, both of which involve human interaction. Their poor service had nothing to do with technology. However, this got me thinking, and I decided to embrace modern technology by subscribing to Amazon Pharmacy. It couldn't be any worse than CVS.

Today's date is 8/16/19 I have been taking a controlled substance medication for 10 years for pain. I have undergone no fewer than 15 major surgeries since 2010.When I called your pharmacy to pick up my pain medication today, I was told that they would have any until next Thursday, that is 6 days from today. I am down to my last 2 doses. I called the CVS corporate office and I was told there was nothing they could do to rectify my situation. My intention is to inform local media of this situation. This is a chronic problem for me that cannot wait 6 days. Tomorrow I will be in horrible pain because of unavailability of my medication. When the medication finally arrives it will be my last visit to any CVS Pharmacy. Also seeing as though Aetna Insurance has recently acquired CVS pharmacy I will be considering cancelling insurance carriers for both myself and my wife. THIS IS NOT FUNNY !

Very, very bad customer service. I tried calling the pharmacy and was on hold for over 45 minutes. Called the store wanting to talk to the store manager and just got transferred, again, to the pharmacy department on automatic hold. It is unbelievable that a patient has no option to be helped and the level of disregard and disrespect. This chain is known for bad customer service, but this store takes that to a whole new level

Pharmacy people are more concerned about eating their lunch instead of fixing a problem they made right before lunch.
