While there are plenty of Journeys throughout Broward and Dade you can visit, the employees can make all the difference. I visited the Journeys location at Sawgrass on February 8, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. The manager and female employee working were excellent! I was shopping for a backpack and they were very eager to help. Good customer service is hard to come by but these two were so friendly and courteous I felt compelled to leave a review. I wish I knew their names to give them proper recognition. All I can say is more businesses need employees like them!

was just at your store ( sawgrass ) on Friday afternoon 10/1. the sweet girl has some pinkish hair color, is awesome and smelled sweet !!! I kind of saw her name tag but couldn't remember, only that it started with an "L" , she is Patient and had exactly what I wanted and then some. She was not pushy, we need more people like her working around people. I will surely be back here to buy shoes for gifts, my family etc, hopefully she will be here to serve me. I really liked her service and cannot tell you again how pleasant it was to shop here because of her! way to go L !

The manager on duty was very rude to me. I asked if I could you use a coupon that I found online and instead of simply saying "no", or just apologizing for the inconvenience he said, "anything on retailmenot, Groupon, or any other website can't be used in our stores. You could stand their for 10 or 15 minutes, it doesn't matter because it won't work." (I don't mind paying the full price if needed to, but I am a college student and would like to save as much as I can). Also, I wasn't upset with the coupon not being usable in the store... things happen and it is what it is. Moreover, I guess the manager read my face after making that comment and knew that I wasn't pleased. Then, he smiled to make his response seem less harsh. I was embarrassed and felt as if he belittled me. Anywho, the young man helping me pick my shoes was nice and patient. I worked in customer service for years and I believe that I am experienced enough to know that his statement wasn't meant to be nice. Sometimes it is not about what you say, but how you say it.

Maria is one of the worst Store Mangers I’ve encountered, not only to work for but also highly unprofessional to customers regarding returns/exchanges since she only cares for revenue. Store was constantly unkept and disorganized. No regard for keeping a steady schedule and letting employees go when their shift ended. I hoped with Beth gone they’d get rid of her too but guess not.
